I just saw a position cross my plate.. You might want to send the below to
the VTSDA association or attend one of their meetings as well. There is a
lot going on.

Subject: [DLSLUG-Discuss] Introduction

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the list so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Doug
Linder and I'm a UNIX sysadmin by profession. I've been mostly
specializing in Solaris and Linux since about 1995. I learned UNIX by
learning Linux - my first distribution was Slackware, back when it came
on floppy discs and you had to compile a custom kernel just to get it
running on your hardware. :-)

I worked as a sysadmin at Dartmouth College in their Technical Services
department for a year between last year and this year. Unfortunately,
the project I was working on had it's platform changed, and all of a
sudden what had been planed to be a bunch of Linux servers became a
bunch of Windows servers (d'oh!), so my contract had to be ended early
and I didn't go on board as a permanent college employee as had been
planned.

Consequently I'm looking for new employment. Of course the upper valley
would be greatly preferable, but really I'm looking for anything in New
Hampshire or even Vermont. I grew up in rural areas of new England and
I really don't want to have to go work in Boston if I can avoid it at all.

If anyone knows of an available sysadmin position in the area, or
anywhere in NH or VT, please do let me know. I'm happy to send my
resume to anyone, just drop me a line.

Thanks and I look forward to being on the list!

Cheers,

Doug Linder
