Hello everyone,
I'm sorry about the tangent into concurrency.
It's just that I've worked in places where communication wasn't very
clear nor was it timely. I can just picture a situation where two or
more people in separate cubicals are trying to save changes to a
shared Word or Excel file at once. Maybe you have two different sales
representatives trying to edit a Word file containing an important
contract.
I think what I had in mind was something like a mixture of "track
changes" and file locking. If SharedPoint had that, that would be
cool. (Then again, maybe the sales reps should just talk to each
other before stepping on each other's toes. lol...)
