Yeah sharepoint does have it all in one.

Hopefully I will also via a different route sometime soon. :-)

 

The main aspect would be live web-based file editing (word, excel and such).

I'll take a look at those as well.

Sharepoint does everything, including the kitchen sink. What is it  
that you need?

A general purpose CMS like Xaraya, Joomla! or Drupal can do a lot of  
different things. There are notes and links on the GNHLUG website to  
past meetings that might provide some insight.
