Quite the technically frustrating evening it was for some of us at our  
Thursday meeting, eh?

Here's the URL to the web site I mentioned, Pixelbeat.org.  Padraig  
has good recomendations for configuring VIM, and other shell-ish  
programs.  He write well and clearly.  In addition, his reviews and  
articles seem well researched and carefully considered.  I read him  
about once a week.
