Check out the Puppet Recipe Manager:

which makes the idea of purposed distros somewhat obsolete. The idea
here is you let Fedora worry about all the hard stuff that makes
distros go away and focus on your niche.
I have some decent recipes for mailserver setup, but nothing I'd
admit to in public. Send me a mail off-line and we'll figure out if
what you think is a mailserver is what I think is a mailserver (there
are some hearty geek arguments to be had there!).
