Actually, nevermind looks like there are a couple changes that need to be made for the 2003 Active Directory integration.

I'll see if this works.
Leave it to msoft to break a good thing.

Subject: [DLSLUG-Discuss] open ldap question
Hi All,
On one of my fedora boxes I'm running samba and openldap to authenticate with active directory and using it as our file server.
Seems it's been working fine for a while. However, I noticed that new users I add to the windows domain via active directory are not visable via ldap.
If I do a getent passwd or getent groups I don't see any of the newest entries in Active Directory.
The server it's authenticating against is a win 2000 server box.
The only thing I can think of is that something in the setup needs to be changed because I had to run domainprep/forestprep on the win 2000 box to add a win 2003 server to active directory.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kevin
